After you’re gone, there is a space left at the table

There is a gap we notice at our most tender moments. This is your chance to help fill that gap with stories, memories, reflections, and advice for the ones who need it most.

Unashamedly Six are reminding you the power of collecting your thoughts now to make after you’re gone a less melancholy, traumatic, and isolating experience.

Thinking about what it is like for the people left behind encourages you to:

  • Write, record, and share the comforting words and expressions you’d love people to know even if you are not there
  • Collect and share your knowledge with your loved ones of your shared and individual history
  • Explore who you are as a person who loves, lives, and enjoys many things to keep a realistic picture of who you are, even when time passes and memories fade
  • Tackle the topics you may not have the courage to reflect on prior to death to aid those left behind make sense of things
  • Catalogue the memories, moments, and stories that you hold for your lineage and pass them on in a meaningful way
  • Ensure you minimise stress on the people left behind by checking your end-of-life documentation and choices
  • Get comfortable with end-of-life by reflecting on the life you’ve been living

What others need from you after you’re gone

  • Download and fill in the free After You’re Gone booklet, a guided book of questions designed to help you reflect on your life and what you’d like to leave behind
  • Check out our array of different blogs on helping to make the moments after you’re gone easier to manage on a psychological, emotional, and intellectual level
  • Make sure you’ve run through our previous campaigns to leave a great last impression and flip the script on death and dying to make sure you leave the minimum amount of administration, complication, and trauma. All while defining what you view as a good death

About your creators

Unashamedly Six is the unleashing of the inner (creative marketing campaigns) children of Six Onions Design and Unashamedly Creative. We come together for select projects that are looking to challenge the standard conventions of Australian marketing, design, content, and community. Our approach puts experimentation, creativity and curiosity back into campaign work where it belongs.

Our aim is to build you the campaigns, digital spaces, community-facing content, and social media experiences the others won’t.
