Unashamedly Six are conversation starters. We help you think about end-of-life planning, grief, death, and more.

There are three ways we can help you get started.

Start the conversations

What happens to your business? Your online accounts? Your possessions? Your pets? What does dignity look like for you? Who do you want around when you die?

End-of-life planning is a series of questions we rarely ask. That’s where we come in.

Together, we can explore your wishes, values, and priorities, the choices you’d like available, and the conversations you want to have with people close to you.

Starts from $650 for the individual.

Make it creative

Not everyone can start with a form. That’s why we use art, play, and creativity to engage with the end-of-life conversation. The Grief is a Collage installation combines art, sensory experiences, storytelling, and play to dive into grief, dying, and end-of-life planning.

Made to be versatile, this fun art installation scales to fit public places, exhibition spaces, and clinical settings. Adaptable and priced to scale to budget and space.

Examples of installations include:

    • Emotional Baggage – Cardboard suitcases decorated with items pop up thoughts about grief, end-of-life, and death to signify the baggage we carry.
    • Wash Your Grief Away – A tea and rosehip wash exploring grief through olfactory senses and promoting self-care, letting go, and healthy release.
    • The Grief Cycle – A sundial-inspired artwork exploring how grief changes over time and how our understanding of grief shifts as we move through it.
    • The Void – A spray-painted and ink wash artwork incorporating responses from a pre-event grief survey to encourage story sharing. A single voice reads the responses on a looping audio recording. The work sits below The Void II.
    • The Void II – Two wooden hat racks holding a string installation where visitors add their own words, images, collages, and stories, building a growing collection of unique death and dying experiences.
    • The Rage Wall – A colourful target that takes foam ball hits all day so you can vent your frustration, anger and grief.
    • Tea with Grief – A special tea blend, cute tea set, and handmade table are the setting for people to sit, drink tea and talk about their experiences with Grief.

Workshop the Grief

We use collage as an easy way to dive into feelings and how we relate to end-of-life ideas, grief, and advance care planning in a workshop format.

Through collaging techniques, storytelling prompts, memes and imagery, and more, participants explore their values, identity, relationships, comfort and care preferences, and end-of-life wishes.

The workshop does not require creative experience. The workshop can be customised to suit the audience. This includes professionals in palliative care, disability, aged care, allied health, education, research, and community settings who want to rethink how we approach consent, communication, and decision-making at end-of-life. Or to increase death literacy in the public in an educational, fun, and creative way.

Workshops start at $500 for two hours.
